Artist Kevin P. Lewellen has completed commissioned works for many public and private collections. Past commissions include portraits, still-life paintings, museum quality reproductions, prints, and drawings.

  • Portrait of Thomas Lynch, Jr.   Small bust length drawing on grey-blue tinted paper with black chalks and white chalk heightening (approx. 12” x 8”) developed from John Trumbull’s pencil sketch, 1791, in the collection of the Yale University Art Gallery, New Haven, Connecticut; commissioned privately to hang in Lynch’s birthplace, “Hopsewee” Plantation, a National Historic Landmark, Georgetown, South Carolina, 1994

  • White House Christmas Tree Ornament   Original ornament designed and hand-painted by the artist in alkyd oils and acrylic with mixed media (approx. grapefruit-size) to represent Independence National Historical Park for the theme “Holiday in the National Parks”; commissioned by the United States Department of the Interior, National Park Service, Independence National Historical Park, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania,  for the White House permanent ornament collection, 2007
